There’s a family of these (RedTail Hawk) at Vincent Massey Park in Ottawa. Pablo (Blk Lab) and I see them year round. Today one ( Large adult) landed 20 ft from where we sat in a rock. He roosted on a black plastic covered vehicle barrier 2 ft off the ground and looked around . He stayed until I said “Hello” to him, then he flew across the parking lot.
