Ah yes, the great Canadian winter. Trying to focus the binos with gloves on, not being able to hear bird calls because of the hat(s), sniffy noses and frozen toes.
We’re a hardy lot though, and won’t let a piddly -20C stop us from going to out look for birds. Even though the ground may be white or a dusty brown, we still have lots of birds to look for.
